Friends are those rare people who ask how we are then wait to hear the answer . A friend is a hand that is always holding yours , no matter how close or far apart you may be . A friend is someone who is always there and will always , always care . A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart . Friends are God's way of apologizing to us for our families . A friend is someone who understands your past , believes in your future , and accepts you just the way you are . A friend is someone who , upon seeing another friend in immense pain , would rather be the one experiencing the pain than to have to watch their friend suffer . A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words . Friend who can be silent with us a moment of despair of confusion , who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement , who can tolerate not knowing . not hearing , not curing , that is a friend who cares . 

True friends stab you in the front . If you make friends with yourself you will never be alone . The hardest part about being friends , is loving you so much . Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another , WHAT ! you too ?! i thought i was the only one . Life is partly what we make it , and partly what it is made by the friends we choose . One measure of friendship consists not in the number of things friends can discuss , but in the number of things they need no longer mention .
